How Hand Washing Works

Every rug is cleaned by hand at our Myrtle Beach facility. We never use the harsh chemicals or rotary brushes that wear down handmade fibers.

1. Inspection and dusting. We check each rug for damage, color stability and earlier repairs, then dust it thoroughly, all before any water touches it.
2. Hand wash. The rug is submerged and hand-shampooed.
3. Triple rinse. We rinse three times in cool water, the same way rugs are cleaned in their countries of origin.
4. Flat drying. Rugs dry flat in our climate-controlled drying room, away from sunlight and heat.

Hand-wash cleaning starts at $3 per square foot. Most rugs are ready in 7 to 14 business days, which includes inspection, washing and the full drying time. Repair and restoration work is quoted separately. For an exact price, send us a photo and the rug's size and we will quote it for you.
